Thursday, July 3 – Kayaking the Gorge & Skamania Lodge

Update: All 24 spots are now filled. If you still want to get out on the water, no worries—you can rent kayaks at 'Hood River SUP and Kayak', located at the waterfront park.

Stop by Skamania Lodge for putt-putt, disc golf, relaxation, & cocktails with breathtaking views of the Gorge all evening long. No RSVP needed. Come and go as you please.
We do not have a reservation or meeting spot, but you'll be sure to find us on the putt putt course or sipping a glass of wine on an Adirondack chair on the back lawn.

Friday, July 4 – Chasing Waterfalls

9:00 in the Morning

Explore waterfalls with short hikes (Wahclella Falls & Bridal Veil Falls) & drive to our favorite spots in the Columbia River Gorge (Multnomah Falls, Latourell Falls, Vista House, Mitchell Point Tunnel). Meet at the Wahclella Falls Trailhead (25 min west of Hood River) at 9am if you'd like to join us & be sure to bring snacks & water!

CATCHING FLIGHTS

Portland International Airport (PDX)

Hood River is about 60 miles from PDX and accessible by shuttle, bus, or car/Uber via I-84. We highly encourage renting a car. From Portland to Hood River, be sure to take the Historic Columbia River Highway (via Exit 22 from I-84 East) for scenic attractions such as the Vista House and lots of waterfalls!
